Fair Use policy
Although Digi-Net provide all accounts with unlimited data transfer, it is our policy to meter and log bandwidth usage for all hosting services, and we may allocate bandwidth else where during non-peak hours, if your accounts is found to be abusing the unlimited bandwidth offer by means of spamming or other scripts and software designed to use heavy bandwidth to disrupt the flow of data throughout our network your account may be at risk. Digi-Net reserve the right to determine fair use and unfair use of service at all times
Free accounts
It is not Digi-Net's policy to provide users with free hosting or email accounts to the public, nor shall resellers provide any such account to the public. In no way can users give out free email accounts to the public, this is to reduce the risk of spam through our servers.
Instant Sign Up
Although your account is created instantly upon signing up, it may not be active until payment is made. You are required to pay the first month's package fee upon signup to activate your account, this means you are paying the first month in advance for services, during this time you are entitled to a full refund excluding any domain registration fee's.
Cancellation
You are free to request your account be closed at any point after signing up, we ask that users who wish to cancel send an email to accounts[no-spam]@digi-net.org from the email address registered within your account. If your account details are not upto date we cannot cancel your account the email addresses must match!!, this is for your own security and data protection.
If you cancel your account all data held for you will be removed from our servers including all domain data, emails and personal data, we do not store your data for any purposes. Backups of your domains may remain on our servers until the next Sunday when a new backup cycle is action'd.
Content
It is not digi-net's policy to monitor all content hosted within its servers, however logging is in place and held for some time. You are not permitted to run any script or component which is designed to be a malicious script or intended to spam other internet users and services, nor are you allowed to run proxies and similar services. Your content must be legal under UK and INTERNATIONAL laws, if its not then it must be removed. Digi-Net reserve the right to determine what is suitable content at any time, if we request you remove something and don't your account can be at risk.
Data Backup's
New, We backup your data on a daily basis, ensuring your data is never lost. At around 6AM every morning the automated system will collect all your files in your domain folders, compress it to a password protected ZIP file, and file transfer it over to another secure server which can only be connected to via the local network or remote desktop by Digi-Net Administrators or data centre staff. Data from day to day is replaced we cannot store catalogued backups, what we backup is what is in your folders that day! To get a copy of your backup please email Digi-Net directly (not via a reseller) by email at services[@]digi-net.org please include your account name/number and the domain you want the backup for, we can either drop a backup in a zip file on your FTP server or email it to you direct, for a small fee of £5.00 we can have an administrator logon to your server and restore your domain to its last previous backup. You may also use the backup/restore online request tool when complete, you may also purchase a restore request from your control panel.
Refunds
It is Digi-Net's policy to offer refunds to users in the correct circumstances, if the problem is our fault we will issue a full refund or credit to account whichever you wish plus an additional fee to cover PayPal fee's. If the problem is not related to our services or its just a case of incompatibility then we offer a refund but minus a 10% administration fee. If the problem spurs from any script or service you attempt to run a refund cannot be given, this only applies if your scripts or services caused the errors.
Package Adjustment
To ensure fair use policy for all our users, Digi-Net reserve the right to adjust and personalize each users package based on there account usage. For example the package you purchase is what you can fully get but if you don't use all your disk space for example we may reduce your package until you require more. In most cases we only adjust disk space limits and domain alias limits and a good will credit would be placed on your billing account.
Liability
In no way will Digi-Net accept responsibility for liability should any of our services not work correctly and stop your site from functioning, it is the users responsibility to request copies of there backup files if you don't have up to date copies and you loose your files we cannot be to blame.
Package Limitations
Package limitations such as sub domains and domain aliases are an "upto" basis you can use "upto" the set amount and not exceeding, you may also notice your limitations slightly lower than advertised if you are not using your full package resources, you can however still use "upto" your package resource limit and they limit will be lifted if you require.
Price And Package Amendments
Digi-Net reserve the right to review package resources and structures as well as the prices as and when we require without warning or explaination, however warning announcement are usually placed on our website and emailed to our customers.
Breach Of Conditions
Digi-Net reserve the right to withdraw access to its services if any terms are deemed to be breached, without warning or explanation however warning is usually provided.
